Just found this. Must have wrote it ages ago. Probably was hiding it from myself.

I know sadness
I know madness
I know hatred.

I know the pills
I know the drills
I know the blankness.

I have seen the abyss
I have seen what I will miss
I have seen what I will gain.

I sat there, looking at two roads
I sat there, looking at two codes,
I sat there, looking at two lives.

I picked up one foot and put it forward
I picked up one foot and stepped toward
Toward what?

I look behind me and see misery and pain.
I see friends and foes, twisted into the brush;
I see the mist which veiled my soul,
Strangling what I might have been
But keeping me walking none the less.

I hold my foot, treading in midair
I hold my foot, treading towards there
I hold my foot, treading nowhere.

I look to the other path, it stares back
I look to the other path, it is black
I look to the other path, it is shadow.

My choices have led to pain, I choose joy,
My choices have led to knowledge, I choose wisdom,
My choices have led to hatred, I choose love.
