I noticed recently how ungrateful I am some of the times

All I seem to do is ask.
I ask for this. I ask for that,
but I really wasn't looking,
then you made me see;
you opened my eyes,
and I can see. I can see.
I was selfish and greedy,
and I should not have complained,
for more. I wanted more,
even though I had more than enough,
which some people don't have,
and so I want to take a minute,
to say sorry for my greed,
and thank you.
I know I have a life time of debt,
to show my thankfulness,
and that a minute is not enough,
but I still need to say thank you,
for all you do,
because I do not always show that I am grateful.
Thank you lord for all you gave.
That we made mistakes and you for gave.
Thank you for giving us faith.
For helping me. For keepin me safe.
Thank you for many a friend.
The ones who stay and love all to the end.
Thank you for showing me the way,
and your guidance day by day.
Thank you for all I take for granted.
Each and every breath.
Love, speech, movement, education.
Parents, loved ones, friends, teachers.
Thank you for forgiveness.
For setting us free from burdens.
And again, thank you for all I have,
because some people don't have a fraction,
of what I complain about.
