Teenage and pregnant, bunking of school,
to meet the school drop-out,
who they all see as cool.
Beaten and raped, manipulated and abused.
Passed on and on, and sick of being used.
But still she has no choice right?
She cannot do anything? It’s too late anyway, and
She used to be extremely bright,
used to tell her wrong from right,
but now she is stealing,
and spends lunchtimes dealing,
when she should be elsewhere.
Lost everyone who used to care,
lost the fight and the dare.
She’s okay with life the way it is,
all of life, reduced to just this.
But was it her, to blame,
who could have said no?
Or was she in fact forced to do so?
