She walks to school with the lunch she packed After grabbing my lunch I quickly made my way outside hoping my mother hadnt seen me. Last night she was throwing beer bottles everywhere. I had to hide in my closet to escape the sounds of glass smashing into solid wall. I felt my stomach suddenly get heavy remembering.Nobody knows what she's holding back
Wearing the same dress she wore yesterday In my haste to get out of the house, I didnt have time to change into some nicer clothes. Not that my mom had ever wasted money to buy me
She hides the bruises with the linen and lace, oh Atleast this dress had a matching jacket so I could hide the blue and purple blotches that were scattered across my arms. I heard the bell ring. Thinking had really cause me not to notice my surroundings. After running up to the school building, I sat in class. Today the teacher was teaching us fractions. It looked easy enough. I was so sure I could pass the test coming up later in the day. I was breezing by the questions until number 27. I actually started to sweat so much from this question. I took my jacket off hoping I could think now that my body was at a normal tempurature.
I got back to the problem; I had just finshed it as the teacher decided to walk around checking for cheaters. The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask. It's hard to see the pain behind the mask. Bearing the burden of a secret storm. Sometimes she wishes she was never born.Through the wind and the rain she stands hard as a stone. In a world that she can't rise above. But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place. Where she's loved concrete angel. After finishing my test Mrs. Summers said we could go home early for being quiet and extra good. I silently walked home thinking about that little boy, Andy, that sits across from me in class. I sometimes saw him looking at me. I wonder why.
I walked inside the house quietly but the door closed too loudly. My mom came out around the corner wearing a silly grin that could only mean one thing. My mother was drunk. I tried to run away to my room but of course she was faster. She grabbed my my arms just below my shoulder and shook. I could fell my neck starting to hurt from the motion. She didnt release her firm grasp until she felt the need for another sip. She set the bottle down on the countertop. But then her eyes lit up like she had an idea. She picked up the bottle again, chugged the liquid in one gulp and looked at me. She held the top of the bottle and hit the bottom on the counter and pointed the edges at me. My eyes bulged out as I felt my heart skip a beat.
God, if your listening, please dont let her hurt me. Please. Love Caylee. But I guess God didnt have time to react cause I suddenly felt pain othe side of my head. It was throbbing so much. I
put m index finger to my head and felt wetness. My head started spinning. I couldnt think straight. I couldnt breathe right. My last thought was "Andy, dont ever forget me," Somebody cries
in the middle of the night. The neighbors hear but they turn out the light. A fragile soul caught in the hands of fate. When morning comes it will be too late
Through the wind and the rain she stands hard as a stone. In a world that she can't rise above. But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place. Where she's loved concrete angel
A statue stands in a shaded place. The wind blew and leaves danced across the green grass in a swirl. The leaved floated a while before landing on a stone rock. The polished rock said "Here lies Caylee Anne Marie, a daughter, a friend. A little girl that represents hope. 1995-2009 An angel girl with an upturned face. A name is written on a polished rock. A broken heart that the world forgot
I awoke in a feild with people huddled around in a neat little circle. I pushed my way through and froze at what I saw. There was a big black box with the name "Caylee Anne Marie," my name. Then it hit me like a pile of bricks. I was dead, my mother had murdered me. I always knew that she wasnt a good mom, but never, and I mean never, did I ever believe she would kill me. I felt something drip on my cheek and I looked up to find the source of the water. There wasnt a cloud in sight. Then I noticed I was crying. I wept uncontrollably until something tapped me on the shoulder from behind. It was Andy. I stepped into his comforting arms and he explained that he was an Angel. He had also been abused by his parents and so had many others.
He took my hand and led me passed all the people in black. Towards all these other kids between the ages of 10 and 18. I realized the were all Angels just like Andy. Just like me. Hand in hand Andy and I raced to some kids and we talked and played for what seemed like forever. I could definately see myself spending the rest of my deceased life spent here. And so I did. Through the wind and the rain she stands hard as a stone. In a world that she can't rise above. But her dreams give her wings and she flies to a place. Where she's loved concrete angel
