Cinderella-

Crashing,

Burning,

As she hit the ground.

Lost all faith and dreams once held

A dreamer she once was

A heart held high just cause

Stagnant, never changing

Heart breaking.

Her life, a Tragedy.

Shattered pieces aching

An arm misplaced

A random hug

Her heart strings felt a swift tug

The pieces swept

New promises made

Guarding her heart like a jewel

She was an opal at her fairest

Her heart skipped at the sight of him

The broken promises now dim

Fixed the broken pieces

And the ones broken for so long

Healed the bruises

Faded the scars

An opal at her fairest.
