Have you looked and never seen?
Or have you seen but never cared?

The world i see, is not your world.
Although we stand side by side
My feelings were different with every stride.
He took with him the piece i gave
That is why i never forgave.

I see the peoples pity
Because you are never there.
You made this life unfair.
Your promises are never kept
But that i have leant to except.

Have you looked and never seen?
Or have you seen but never cared?

It's like a race without an end.
You are always in the lead
I try to catch up, but i never succeed.
Eventually i will get tired
And give up what i desired.

If i ever marry.
I won't ask you to give me away
Since all you have done is betray.
My uncle will take your place
He will be the one i tearfully embrace.

Have you look and never seen?
Or have you see but never cared?
It doesn't matter, i am now sixteen.
It doesn't matter, these wounds can't be repaired.

All i wanted was my dad, but he was never there.
