My best friend was thinking about suicide. I hope you read this in time...

I know that you can do it
You can rise above this
You can pull through if you’d just try
And don’t forget, it’s okay to cry
Let your pain go
You’re stronger than you know
You just need to learn to let it show
I’m here for you, every step of the way

If you go, I go
If I go, he goes
The domino effect is in play
The adults, they’ll say
“It’s a line of deaths
It’s basically a plague
What made them act this way?
Why couldn’t we just have had a say
In this matter that surely will progress?
Couldn’t they just confess?”

Enough people care
They’d be pulling out their hair
Contemplating suicide
They just cannot decide
Which is the best way to do it?
How can you get the job done?

How about a bullet to the head?
Through the mouth?
The temple?
Between the eyes?

How about a cut?
On your neck?
Your wrists?
Your thighs?

Swallow some pills?
Over dose on drugs?

Which is the best way
To end a life?
The life of a sweet girl
A kind soul
Who’s heart is now a gaping hole

Which is the best way
To end it
Leave it all behind
And end your life?
