The Right

I envy the look in her eyes

The smile hanging on her lips

And the way she holds the right

To hold you tight

I envy the way you view her

The way she entraps your sight

And the way she holds the right

To be your sight

I envy her poisonous words

Those promises of true love

And the way she holds the right

To be your light
