Don't you see the urgency?

It's time to be insurgent, see,

No one can tell me how to exist.

When they dispense hypocrisies,

have faith and just adhere to me,

when you feel I begin to resist.

Life is too short to compromise.

See it through your given eyes.

Don't let them distort your point of view,

Because in the end they will all be gone,

whether they were right or wrong,

and in the end it's only you.

Pay no heed to their acerbic words.

Scatter them like frightened birds.

Absolve the urge to live the way they feel.

Abstain from the norm and live for you.

You know that they don't want you to, so

never renounce your right to keep it real.
