A few years ago this was a greenland,

with figs, shrubs, trees & grass, all that is left today, is the stony hard soil.

A few years ago monkeys swayed along the branches, elephants trumpeted their way,

tigers whiskered, snakes slithered, birds frolicked.....

all that is left today, is perhaps the fossils of the poor creatures, buried deep under.

As I stand here, my mind wanders back to the pleasant past,

When i stood on grass instead of stones, enjoying the delightful view,

little did i know then that, ut would all wither away, perish away one day.........

when ruthless, heartless humans would come & interfere in our peaceful lives.....
