A random poem about different aspects on life and stuff in general. I wrote this at one in the morning. :)

It was gray
A blanket of fog,
Clouding my vision,
Holding the secrets:
The questions
The meaning
The answers
My answers.
It was splattered with blood
Each speck with its own tale
Every teardrop,
Frozen in time.
Dew drops on the last rose,
Blurry photographs
With a not-so-clear picture-
Or is it the message-
Who knows?
This second,
This moment,
This breath-
How long will it last?
Memories half-heartedly preserved…
I don’t know what to believe.
Who am I?
Who is hidden beneath the layers?
Pebbles in a river-
Lulled and contemplated
Like a lost thought.
I can’t hide from my own lies;
I know the truth,
It knows me:
The parts I admire,
The ones I regret.
Forever will I remember
The way the hands felt in mine:
Clammy, weak and desperate,
Clinging to the only thing left.
Then, it was gone.
Gone with a whoosh of life and then- there was nothing.
Back to the beginning.
