She's happy, bubbly, the one who smiles

But take a good look for a little while

She says 'I'm okay, I'm fine', it's lies

Behind closed doors all she does is cry

Secretly she wishes you'd notice the scars

The ones on her arm, the ones in her heart

Don't be fooled by her laugh and her smile

She's practised for more than a little while

So many times she's lonely and ignored

She often doesn't think she exists at all

But if you look really hard, look into her eyes

They're dead, you'll notice all she hides
