I HAVE FOUND ME

I found me,
I have given up all the fear and uncertainties,
to reveal a glowing me.

For long, I cried way down deep,
Dying to birth that which was hiding inside of me
but the fear of rejection cripples me.

I was stuck, though the whole world was open in front of me,
The days, months, and years hover over me, choking me,
Soon I was fighting to keep a tiny glimmer of hope alive in me.

Then one day I awoke and I could not breathe,
The gleam of hope I could no longer see.
The fear of darkness replaces the fear of rejection that had long held on to me.

That fear pushes me,
Towards the light that was moving away from me.
Then ---------- I could breathe. I was free.

No longer was I afraid if the world rejects me,
I birthed what was hiding inside of me,
Now I am free, free to let the world see me.

Free to be me.
