Doris rubbed at her stockings, trying to smooth them down and get the wrinkles out ,"dam nylons" she said"never stay up properly" .

Horace shook his head " Dor you ain't wearing any " smiling he leaned closer and stroked Doris wrinkly skin , his hand shaking a little as it did so.

"Get orf you randy ol' sod " Doris slapped at his hand "leave me legs alone " .

"You know I can't resist them lovely pins o' yours " Horace took his hand away and turned to the door where the lovely May had just walked in and watched as she parked her zimmerframe up with the assortment of wheelchairs and walking sticks. May was a real beauty, her hair in soft greyish curls, figure like a young girls thought Horace as his fading eyesight squinted over her the floral dress that was clinging to her frame if only I could persuade her to room 109A I'd show her a good time ,but she wouldn't even go down even for coffee she was till lamenting over her dead and buried Jim .Horace thought of the ways he could help her get over him ... bringing a grin to his face .

"Over here May " called Doris " we saved you a seat lovey ".May sat down just in time for the plate of slops ,so called the evening meal was placed roughly before her .

"Hurry up " said Warren , "you will miss out next time your late " Warren was one of the warders he did several jobs at the home, from serving up at dinner to giving the roughest bed baths anyone person could possibly bear. He wiped his big fat hands through his Elvis style greased black hair and raised his eyebrows in disgust as May began to weep

"Shut it Lady " barked Warren"don't be late tomorrow " .

Horace patted Mays' hand " Don't worry I am going to get us out of here ".

May sniffled "oh you,you always have an escape planned Ive told you I am not digging a tunnel ! "

Horace laughed "I wouldn't have you ruining that lovely hair o'yours by crawling underground ,I can assure you I have a much better idea than that .
