Looking into the mirror what do you see?
The ever slight ominous imprint of a hand
Barely there, but enough to drive you insane
Wipe it away but with no gain
Only slightly darker and more pronounced.
Irritated you try again but still to no avail,
Stand there intently looking at it until you can’t stand it
Breaking the mirror with a fist, knuckles pale,
Lacerated and aggravated looking down
The shards of glass lay scattered on the ground,
Only to see the imprint on every fragment.
