Roaming through streets...

Roaming through streets

so many times walked upon

yet never seem to become familiar

Same old brick walls turned stranger

All our shame scattered beneath us

still perceptions fail to perceive

The wind carries the cry of the lonely ones

Hiding themselves in the crowd

wounded and wondering...

waiting to die

Depraved self indulgences

fill the eyes of the passer by

blindly obeying their own fabricated conscience

The gold fading sunshine empties the streets

Soon the dark will embrace the city

Until the morning star wakes

and all of it repeats
