I recently lost my cat it was a shock and she was only 11 she had diabetes, I had her since she was six weeks old and she was a part of the family, I miss her greeting me in the morning and laying on my lap rest in peace.

Onyx

Onyx sleek and black, smooth and strong, how I miss you my faithful friend,  I open the door you are not there the mornings where you once stood at the foot of the stairs now bare I have to remind myself you are not there, but you are in a better place full of joy and grace no more suffering will you endure, you lay across my legs like a  branch, you knew when I was upset or down you would come to me and lay I would stroke you and feel comforted and loved, the years we shared together were wonderful I loved you with all my heart rest in peace my faithful friend I hope one day I will see you again.x
