My Decisions

By

Cheryl Martin

As I sit back and look over my life

It makes me wonder will I ever be someone’s wife

I know no one is perfect and we all make mistakes

If only I could start over from the beginning

Would it make any difference?

I doubt it, it’s better to just continue and not look back

I’m glad that I was chosen to be a mother

All though at times I do wish that I had a brother

As I look at all the troubled times that I came across in my life

I think to myself what would life be without them

Now that I can see where I may have went wrong

I promise you I won’t let it happen again

I may be sitting here with no friends or family by my side

At least I know I have someone to talk to when I need to

Everyone looks at me weird cause I leave everything up to GOD

In the end they are now wishing they did the same thing

I don’t regret any part of my life at all

I just wish I didn’t have to fall

Everything happens in life for a reason

No matter what season

You must learn from your mistakes

What good is life if there are no stumbling blocks

At least now I know what not to do

Now no one can look at me as a fool

Sometimes at night I just want to cry

I don’t even know why

When it’s all said and done

Some problems are just never gone
