I am no one's daughter. Raised by wolves and the moon. Nourished by meat from the white tailed deer and water stolen from the creeks Our howls and cries can be heard from a far, only we know what our twisted tongues speak. The moon bares her light, our eyes glitter over the bluffs. The night is ours, it belongs to us. We are the predators of the night, Kings and Queens by our own right. The valley, hill tops, and bluffs are our throne. I am no one's daughter. I live in the night, I hunt in the darkness and I hide from the light.
