She walks into the chamber

Through the iron door

The doors are closed behind her

She will prove to them

She can become a knight

A female can earn her shield

Just as much as a male can

With her courage

She awaits the fears the chamber will show

She knows not to utter a word

The chamber shows her fears

Of family and friends being killed

Of lives she cannot save

It hurts her

The images stop

The door opens

Out she steps to receive her shield

I am a woman

A Lady Knight
