He falls for her and she loves him. But can she follow his families ways and follow through with what he demands? And can she trust in him so fast?

Macaulay’s eyes keep still as they hide behind his eyelids. They never open and they never see the ground he walks on, the field he walks in or the people that pass him. He is not blind, though many have asked him if that was so.
He is from the planet Paemay but now inhabits a small home on Earth. Paemay is a beautiful planet yet only few get to see that beauty. Tourists are not allowed to visit. The only way one could venture onto Paemay is if you have wed a Pamian. It has always been a secretive planet and the people who live there plan to keep it that way.
Many people have tried to guess the reason of their secrets but as many as they came up with the more confused they became. Macaulay’s ears picked up a new conversation held by two women to his left. Their whispers were woven with his looks and what he was. He felt his lips curl up slightly, a move he was familiar with but Macaulay never seen the result.
“Pamian’s are so attractive! What I would do to see their eyes…” One of the girls moaned.
“You and I both, hon.” The other responded. Her voice seemed muffled, was something in her mouth?
Their conversation continued, straying to the popular topic of why they never open their eyes if they are not blind.
“Don't they want to see the world?” the first one asked. Macaulay almost scoffed. ‘They have no idea…’
Macaulay shuffled foreword, a small clicking noise escaping his lips. Echolocation was a common thing among his people. He, in a way, saw the object in front of him. His chin lifted and the clicking continued. ‘It's a tree.’ His instincts told him. Reaching out his fingers grazed the rough bark as he walked around it, trying hard not to hit the roots.
The crown of his shoe hit something soft. It confused him and his nose wrinkled. Roots weren’t soft… He kicked again, testing the softness. A light laughter came from beneath him. His mouth fell open.
“I’m sorry! I didn't know you were there, ma’am.”
She laughed again. He found her laughter contagious and chuckled himself. “It’s alright, it didn't hurt.” She said. He heard her stand and listened to her brush her pants clean. “You blind?” she asked roundly. A small smile played across Macaulay’s face. “No, I’m Pamian.” That usually explained everything but he could almost taste her confusion. He tilted his head for her benefit.
“I’m from the planet Paemay.” He offered.
“Huh…” was the only response he received.
The gravel beneath her feet crackled as she took a step. “Mind if I walk with you?” she asked. “I have nothing to do today and from what I see, I think I need to know the reason why being Pamian means you aren’t blind.” Macaulay could hear the smile in her voice. Nodding, they walked together side by side, their shoulder bumping against each other on occasion.
If it were possible, she was more confused now then she was before. “So, you can’t explain why you can’t open your eyes… You just cant. Right?”
“Right” he concluded. She huffed her confusion, causing Macaulay to laugh lightly. A small amount of silence followed before she gasped. Though it wasn't necessary Macaulay turned his head in her direction. “I’m so rude! Here I am bothering your walk and I haven’t even told you my name!” He countered with the fact he hadn’t told her his name either.
“Well, my name is Paisley.” She said extending her hand and immediately feeling stupid for trying to shake a blind mans hand. She decided to shove her hand back in her pant pocket. He smiled, unaware of her little moment. “My name is Macaulay.”
They continued to walk, speaking of their hobbies, dreams and worries. By the end of the night Macaulay had never known someone so well, nor had someone known him so well. The sun was setting when a thought struck Paisley. “Hey, Macaulay. How exactly are you going to get home?” She asked. He pursed his lips. Honestly he didn't know. This field was a new discovery to him and he hadn’t thought so far ahead.
The look on his face told her everything. “Alright, it’s settled. I’ll drive you home.” She said with a nod. Macaulay tried to protest but she stuck to her decision. “I wouldn't be human if I didn't help a blind man in need.” He reminded her he wasn't really blind. “Well, whatever you are. But right now you in need and I have a car.” He didn't argue any farther and let her drive him to his simple little home a few blocks away.
His fingers traced along the car door searching for the handle when he noticed they had stopped. With a sudden jolt Paisley was out of the car and jogging to the other side to help him out and up the front steps to his house. They said their goodbyes, unaware that they would spend the next few months together.

(Time lapse 7 months)

Macaulay sat on his front steps listening for the familiar sound of her car approaching. Today was going to be different, though she hadn’t been aware of that. Within the months they had spent with each other Macaulay had grown extremely fond of Paisley and from what he gathered she had some connection with him as well.
The engine purred as she pulled onto his street. He heard the car door shut and listened to her feet approaching him. That smile was back in her voice. “Hey, Macaulay!” She called. He nodded in a greeting. A puff of warm air pushed against his side as she sat down next to him. “What shall we do today?” she asked as she looked at his serious face.
Macaulay didn't know how to ease into the subject so he just blurted it out. “I want to be with you till the day I die. And not just as friends.” He was glad his eyes weren’t open in this moment, he was afraid of the expression she wore.
A minute passed and he questioned whether she was still there. With a click of the tongue he ‘saw’ her. He couldn't help but sigh in relief. Her response was quiet and Macaulay almost missed it. “I want to spend my life with you too.”
It was settled. Reaching out he grabbed her hand in his. “Now you just have to trust me.” Standing he guided her through the house to one specific door. It was all mechanical, he had walked passed this door many times, though this was the first time it was really needed.
Pushing the door open Paisley closed her eyes, shying away from the bright light that welcomed them.
“Theres…nothing in here.” She noted out loud “Not even a window!”
He nodded. “Which is what I need.” His voice was a whisper.
Confusion crossed her face and obviously he didn't answer for a reason. He let go of her hand and shuffled his way to one of the walls. “Now can you stand on the wall farthest from me?” He listened to her feet shuffle to the other wall. “Okay… now… trust me, right?” She looked at him skeptically. “Yeah.” She said after hesitation. Macaulay noted the hesitation and his breath caught in his throat.
He mumbled something. Her nose wrinkled and strained to listen to him. He repeated himself, but still she didn't hear. His voice broke as he nearly shouted the words. “You need to your clothes off!” His mouth gaped open and he turned bright red. “What!?” She snapped. It was all a trick. This wouldn't be the first time that she fell for it either and it just angered her further. She started to walk out but he called to her.
“Paisley! No…please… I’ll explain everything after this is over. Trust me…remember?” If she had any powers he would have bursted into flames from her glare. But she followed through and took her place against the wall. She let the fabric fall down her body and hit the floor. Standing there naked in a white room with no windows didn't make her feel comfortable. But she trusted him….Right.
His next instructions were to throw the clothes outside the door. She followed through and hesitated in the doorway. She could run. It was a perfect opportunity. Shaking her head she closed the door and walked back to her wall. “Your not wearing any jewelry are you?” She shook her head then mentally hit herself. “No. I’m not.” She whispered. He nodded.
Macaulay took a deep breath and stood still for a moment. Slowly, his eyes opened. The pupils dilated and his eyes took time to focus. Blinking rapidly he opened his eyes farther. Paisley almost gasped when she saw the color of his eyes. They seemed the change every second. A mist in the colors seemed to move like clouds in the sky. Purples and greens and yellows all painted together in a beautiful way.
Then he saw her. Her long beautiful body standing there staring at him. The chemicals in his genes worked immediately and like all of his kin from Paemay he fell in love with this girl right when he saw her. She had taken off all her clothes, as he asked, and now he wouldn't love a girl in that outfit. He would love the girl the way she was. Forever.
If she had worn anything or if there was anything in the room and he saw that first, his gene would make him love that thing. Even if it were a TV. It had been done, and it was sad.
He thought back to the “If you love it so much then marry it jokes” and shook his head. They didn't know how true that was. His eyes came back to her and a smile spread across his lips. “Hey, baby” he croaked. Tears filled her eyes. He ran to her and kissed her lovingly. It was a wonderful feeling. It was love at first sight.

Well done on making your own planets and laws and things etc. I'm trying it in the novel I'm writing and to me it's quite hard, haha.
