Summary

Sometimes people we see every day but never speak to can become important to us.

Every day

The train

There

And back again

A face

Yours

In the crowd

I smile

You shine

Fingers touch

A shock

We retreat

To recover

And wait

Another day

Then alone

I make the journey

For weeks

Months

Truth descends

Reality hits home

I will never see you again
