Status: Finished  |  Genre: Song Lyrics  |  House: Booksie Classic

This song I wrote after realizing I need to be my own artist and stop trying to be like all my idols because I'm my own person and that's a good person to be.

I'm ready to be my own.

I'm ready to write, my kind of song.

I'm done, being someone I'm not.

I've gotta make my own story, my own story.

I don't care if you don't like my words.

I don't care if you don't like my words.

I'm gonna make the stuff, that comes to me, naturally.

And finally,

I'm not cold.

I'm not cold.

Play that song and I'm sold.

Thanks for the laughs,

it was great inspiration.

But I'm not even cold.

I'm from the Midwest.

I don't need anything more.

60 miles from Louisville.

It'd be cool to go to Phoenix to see what I can pick up.

I wouldn't go there for the weather or for any luck.

Cause I'm not cold.

I'm not cold.

I'll listen to what I was told.

Thanks for the laughs,

it was great inspiration,

But I'm not even cold.

I'm going to drop all my songs down an octave.

I'm finally gonna give, it, up.

Cause' I'm not from the sun.

And that's not my metaphor.

That's not my metaphor.

That's not my metaphor.

I'm not cold.

I'm not cold, cold, cold.

I'm, not, even, cold.
