Something I put together while outside in my hammock one navy blue night.

I love the night. I adore everything from the endless oblivion we call, "the sky" to the shining specks illuminating   it.

I love the people who are alive in the dark and this energy humans release when they should be resting.

I love how awake the stunning, sleeping sky is.  The mysterious dark blue-black made vulnerable by small twinkling stars - So easily made out - Yet How I wonder what you are.

I love the filthy, little street-corner drug stores.  How they are awakened by the moon. Becoming alive. From going so unnoticed while basking in the sun, only until the night triggers animating neon signs  and  flashy colors.

8 a.m comes again and the sun's rest was relieving,

for the moon was deceiving.
