Mysterious.

Rain falls and soaks my skin and clothes. The emotions inside me churn and stir like a raging river. I've never felt so out of control. My arms and legs were trembling, maybe with cold or emotion I couldn't tell. Its almost inhuman or maybe its a side of human nature that everyone is too ashamed to uncover. I'm not ashamed. I scream and cry out into the wind like an unleashed monster of the imagination. I slip and fall on the wet pavement and see my world zip out of sight for the moment. It was all too much so when I land, I just sit. The massive raindrops hide my unyielding tears. I see headlights in the distance that look like an angel descending from heaven. I hear the pop of the handle and see the dark, looming figure that hops out. As it moves towards me, I attempt to get my bearings and move on my hands and knees. But, my mind's too foggy to really get anywhere. When the figure grabbed me by my sides, I gave a great jolt and finally realized what was happening... it was too late. He has me and I try to shake him off but it gets me nowhere so I finally go limp in his iron hold. He drags me to the passenger seat of the vehicle. By that time I finally realized he was shouting and I hadn't heard any of it. He shoves me into the car and the dim light goes on as he jumps in the driver's side. I glance over to see my captors face and gasp. My father. Warmth spreads through me like a wildfire. From my heart to my toes. I had been lost, but now I had found home.
