I woke up to screaming. A women yelling something i couldnt make out, her cries for help sounded garbled. It was night and one of the coldest of nights. I got out of the warmth of my bed to see what it could be. Her sobs sounded as if they were right behind me. I walked down the wooden steps of the foster home i was currently living in. Walking down the stairs i still heard the cries as clear as day although i was walking further from my room. I pulled on a jacket and walked out into the night, my feel touching the cold concrete. Another sob and this time it sounded like the women was yelling 'HELP ME!'. Thats when i started running. There was an alley right by the window in my room so i sprinted there. As i was running my feet slapped against the cd dirt and glass in the alley. It was dark, i stopped. The sobbing stopped. 'RUN!' The womens voice yelled. I ran as fast as my size 7 feet could carry me. Running threw bushes and glass and any other pointy object you could think of. Jab after jab right into my shins. I stopped and fell to the floor as i felt a warm watery substance on my forhead. I touched it and brought it to my fingers. Blood. It was blood! I needed to get out if here. 'Help!' The wonen was sobbing again. I spun around hearing her sobs in my ear. \"Where are you?!\" I then called out but there was nothing no sound no sobs. Just silence. 'He's gone' the women whispered. \"Where are you?\" I whispered back. My hands were trembling and i felt my heart pumping out of my chest. \"Im here\" she says. \"I always have been.\" The women was laughing uncontrollably no longer a voice in my ear. But now a voice in my head.
