There is something beautiful about her.

The way she carries that grin,

Glowing a mile away.

Jealous in any way possible,

Of a poor gray-stripped

Tabby.

Her arrogance and pride,

Sending you sideways.

And rocking your mind upside down.

A presence of youth

And everlasting joy.

Wrapped in layers of a three foot

Body.

Her hair dangles not far from the ground.

She knows she’s safe though,

Because she’s in your arms.

The call of your name as she runs after you,

Waving goodbye.

Left with only an imprint of tender lips.
