Cast aside,

Faithless and denied.

I'm shunning all this sympathy.

Passed out,

Empty and forgotten.

I'm heeding some compassion,

Holding onto an unreal distraction.

Caved in,

Desperate and hated.

I'm laughing so someone will listen.

Letting go has never been harder,

A resolutin I seem to not be finding.

Dead inside,

Agonized and ignored,

I'm tired of explanations,

Yearning for some self-assurance.

A misunderstood expression,

I'm lying here, waiting,

Ready to die now.
