Eleven lines of metaphor.

We are the dust collectors,
The street sweepers,
Gathering scraps of earth
And heaping them into mountains,
Collecting the world's refuse
And from it crafting cities.
We work at night
By candlelight
To fashion our meaningful somethings.
Most of the time we fail, but
We do not stop trying.

This is absolutely brilliant. It's almost more a statement than a poem--if someone said this to me (angrily, of course) then I would have good cause to be very, very afraid. Excellent work yet again!:D

Hahaha mine too :) I'm not quite sold on the title, do you have any suggestions?

This is clever and interesting, with some really good imagery. I think this is really very good.

Stormbird Throneshaker

Anything's possible,

if we are able to make it happen.

It's when we do nothing,

that we can be assured that things will happen,

as they are meant to,

without intervention.

It is only when we intervene and change things,

so that they happen in a different way,

that we can be assured that we made it possible.

Always follow your dreams and not your nightmares,

for you may have little dreamers that are following you,

and they have no need of nightmares,

only knights in shining armor.

A great big...normal sized vote/like from me.
Too bad they don't have the star system, you'd get ten from me for this one!

I started a response, but your comment on following dreams suddenly made me think of a poem, so I went and wrote that instead. But thank you for the comment :) it's interesting that you dialogue with the poem, rather than just saying stuff about the poem. It's fun to read :)

The title is what caught me! I swear I was about to look at what novels you had and I was stopped immediately when I saw the title, lol! This is a really cool way to describe writers. This made me feel even better about being a writer! :D TEAM WRITERS, LET'S GO! YEAH! Kudos milady!
