Life without God is meaningless, no matter how influential, powerful and able we may be, without Him it is a waste.

A little applause from the crowd

Made me so rude and proud

That shifted me again to my own

And liked to be little known

Having no idea of my way

Began to travel high everyday

My all dear ones seemed so dim

From the heights of my whim

Everything was fine and well

Enjoying in my haughty shell

Then suddenly a voice so still

Shook my entire made hill

My huge veil of selfishness

That never seemed to leave my flesh

Was unveiled by the Lord Jesus

And I saw my graven images

There was no peace in my heart

Had been a constant prey to Satan’s dart

But Jesus by His grace and love

Reminded of the things above

There was no word that I could utter

But filled with awe and wonder

If anyone that I saw was He

The creator of heavens, earth, and sea

I bowed down in reverence

Before the Holy One’s presence

With the heart contrite and broken

Seeking only to be forgiven

Then peace beyond measure

More than any valuable treasure

Rushed in my inmost being

Making me a complete being

For without God I am zero

No matter how able I’m as a hero

In God alone my life does make sense

So I must take a U-turn to God at once
