Who shall we follow?

Though worldly beings are measured in grace,
and our human nature enslaves every race,
There is one question, that lays unanswered.

What shall we preach?

The pounding, the sounding,
black, my heart surrounding,
the extra mile, is packed on our backs.

When shall we rise?

And a upon each morn, the dawn
it breaks! Breaks upon the front lawn.
As the world stirs anew.

Where shall we go?

As our feet hit the pavement -alone,
our bodies, slam themselves against the grindstone,
tireing us each and every waking morn.

Why do we suffer?

Christ died and still dies,
to forgive our lies,
our cheats, our repetitious sins.

The lesson of your words?

No matter your race,
or the color of your face,
will separate you from freedom in God.
