Through this veil I view the world
Without sentiment
I see the truth in every word
And feel unspoken lament

Through this voice I hear what’s meant
When lies are uttered near
I know these thoughts of bland repent
As lovers bequeath care

Truth in essence is very rare
And fallacy is real
Into the sky I dare to stare
And dare allowed to feel

This anarchy of perfection ideal
Is gone and done for good
In ecstasy a life surreal
Cannot be understood

Forget this truth I surely would
If chance would be so kind
But in the end I have withstood
And know this earth is blind
And know that truth is blind
