He looks at the blank canvas
Commiseratively
He picks up his brush
Considering
Silent strokes hit the pure paper
Beautiful colors wipe across it
Creating emotions
Creating expressions
He sees the painting not as a whole
He sees every stroke
Every second spent on it
He fills in the lines in his head
Not creating
But conveying
It pulls together perfectly
Every line
Every stroke
He knows what it is
He sees it for how it is
The truest beauty
Embodied in the most beautiful truth
He feels the flow of every inch of it
He sees every heartbeat invested
His painting comes to life
Like a tapestry of symphony
Singing to his soul
He feels its completion
And he grins in self recognition
As he sets fire to his work
And watches as every ounce of his life is burned to sweet ashes.
