Crimson blood pours out
Gushing from my pores
Darkness engulfs me
Stroking at my wounds
My mind, ever slipping
Is withdrawn from my being
I see only life
In this crimson darkness
Pain and death are as distant
As the blood that spills over this edge
Strewn across this barren plain
My body gasps
Every drop of this darkness spills from me
All greed and gluttony
All pride and wrath
All lust and envy
As crimson darkness washes over me
As these wretched cries are stolen from my mind
I am set free
Free from the scorching sun
Free the blinding light
All pain and death are withdrawn into this crimson darkness
and at long last I am truly free.
