Christians, you do not know who, or even what, god is. Do not speak as if you know him, as if you have conversed with him personally. Please comment.

If he speaks
Who will hear
If he comes
Who will see
What will he do
What will he say
Will he speak words of peace and love
Or spit venomous damnation
Will he heal the sick and blind
Or spread severe benediction
If
If he comes
If he speaks
Who are we to judge his actions
Who are we to judge what he does
Who are we to predict his actions
Who are we to predict what he does
Why do we speak as if we know him
As if we know who he is
If
Never when
Why do we say he will save us
Why do we claim it in his word
You have never heard him
You have never seen him
If he speaks
Who are you to say what he’ll say
If he comes
Who are you to say what he’ll do
Bless me in his name
And know that he
He who might not exist
Know that you know not what he wants
Know that you know not what he is.
