You look upon her not in body, but in mind and soul. And as such it is revelation that rises within you, not ecstasy. And with revelation comes understanding, with understanding comes knowledge, with knowledge comes wisdom, and with wisdom comes the inexorable realization that there is no state of higher pleasure. A revelation may last only in a moment of release when two lovers meet, but the effects are not easily forgotten.

What rhythm can hold to my heart so clear
When all my heart is filled with fear,
Who can soothe me
When I weep in silence
Who can call me
From surreal defiance,
Why ask of others
These questions I know not myself
Why seek out others
When my thoughts are of only myself,
What reason can hold to my soul so clear
When all my soul is wrought with fear,
Who can calm me
When rage inflares
Who can bring me
From surreal tears,
Why turn to others
When it is you that I truly need
Why look to others
When you are all I will ever need,
What thinks to hold to my heart so clear
When heart and soul no naught but fear,
Who can cure me
When illness spreads
Who can free me
When freedom dreads,
Why call to others
When you are there beside me
Why not with you
For you are already beside me,
I know you to hold to my soul so clear
For you will rid heart and soul of fear.
