I sit outside
In the rain
Thinking of death
Blood and pain
You know
All those normal things a teenage boy thinks of
When all the sudden
Out of nowhere at all
I see a withering flower fall
A beautifully blackened rose
With petal a pure blood red
I see it raining down
The souls of the dead
I see blood and filth
Such a wondrous sight
I know not how to react
So I just sat and watched all night
It poured scores of men
Women and children
All dead of course
But lovely non the less
I saw blackness fall
All around my feet
So I just sat and watched
From my comfy seat
I smiled and laughed
At the poor sons of bitches
As their pathetic limbs
Filled the ditches
I was soaked in blood
And it felt so good
So I watched with delight
Like I know I should
Anything that felt so good
Could surely not be that bad
And now I still sit here watching
Like I always have
Thinking of death
Blood and pain
You know, all those normal things.
