A simple poem about celebrating the life of the dead, instead of mourning their death. The opinions expessed in this poem are not entirely mine, nor accurate of me. Please enjoy and comments are always appreciated.

There is
There is
There is
There is no justice
No, not for the dead
Not for the dead
Murder for murder
Blood for blood
But never justice
They weep In their graves
Not because they are dead
Because they are not remembered
Not how they want to be
They wish only peace
For those alive
Only happiness
Where they have none
There is
There is
There is
There is happiness for the dead
In knowing they are remembered
Not avenged
Murder for murder
Blood for blood
It is meaningless
It is trivial
It is
It is
It is all for naught
Do not forget them
Do not mourn them
Save for one day
Celebrate life
Even where life is gone
Remember
Rejoice
But do not seek revenge
Do not waste upon those
Who wish not for you to waste
There is
There is
There is
There is peace
But it is not in mourning
Or regret
It is in memory
Remember them
But do not
Do not mourn them
Do not mourn them
Do not mourn me when I’m gone.
