I sit atop this boulder
Overlooking the deep water
Watching the shimmering moonlight
A broken reflection of my mind
Her beauty unequaled
Unwavering and true
Her beauty never ending
A broken reflection of you
In this pool of mystic waters
Dance silent silhouettes
As the sweet night’s air grows colder
Reveling my silent breath
The ripples in the water
A portal to the lands of lore
A passage to the magic lands
A steadily waiting door
A soft white mist
Raising from the silver surface
A dragons breath
Laced with deadly grace
Inside this pool
Of bloodlust souls
Lays a land of truth
Of which no one knows
The sweet moons reflection
A key to bliss
The water ripples
Opening the abyss
I step onto the surface
Of this silver laced pool
Walking across the moonlight
A transparent jewel
I gaze up at the silver moon
Lifted high in my stead
I gaze upon the pools surface
Upon the souls of the dead
I see the beauty
And the mystery of life
As I glide to bliss
Guided by my moons light
Her beauty unequaled
Unwavering and true
Her beauty never ending
A broken reflection of you
As I emerge
In this land
Only to find
That I’ve come out
Where I had went in
I rack my mind
But know not why
So I climb back atop my boulder
Overlooking the deep water
Watching the shimmering moonlight
A broken reflection of my mind.
