Reaching death
Short on breath
And grasping
With a lifeless hand
To any who can
Set you free
From your sorrow
And your agony
And now I find you
Asking me
A man wrapped and warped
In abstractity
I can barely keep myself sane
Let alone you
And I know this is true
But still…
You sweet words
Creep into my heart
Even through you rasping breath
Your angelic voice
Seems to spit on my insanity
And though I’ve decided to help you
I cant help but to feel
That its you
Who are helping me,
Even as I sit here
Clenching your hand
And silently praying to a god
Of whom I do not believe in
It is you voice that comforts me
And shelters me
From abstractity
And everything
And in your presence I am free
To laugh and joke
Honestly, it’s a blast
But I constantly fear this time
May be our last
But even as your nearing death
Your body short on breathe
I cannot help but to feel blessed
Only to have known you.
