Another really old piece. Really old meaning like a year ago when I got back into poetry. It seems like a long time ago. Please comment.

Calm and clear
A shimmering silhouette
The spirits of the dead
Reaching up

Towards the perfect surface
Beauty abound
An aura of love
Is felt all around

This silent pool of water
Reflecting the perfect moon
I sit here all night
But I must leave soon

The air is cool and perfect
As I watch the silver water
A passage to the realms of beauty
If only I could dive farther

Down and down
Breaking the perfect reflection
Releasing all doubts
All fears of detection

Letting go
And swimming down
Farther and farther
Until I drown

In this perfect pool
A mirror of the moon
I’d swim forever in this silver water
But I must leave soon

For the sun must wake
And the moon sleep
So I go back
To my silence to think

But I’ll return
To this mystic water
To this perfect silver pool
To dive ever farther.
