I hear the summer chimes once more
Sway sweetly in the breeze
A declaration of death and war
Forced softly to my knees
Gentle bells ring out in glee
As day is lost to night
Soft as cries of the banshee
Engulfed in dark delight
Pleasant as a withered rose
The purest ringing death
Beautifully it is composed
As I lightly gasp for breath
I hear these summer chimes ring hence
Another harvested soul
The symbol of another death
As I regretfully know.
