Unknowingly
We walk this path
Unaware of where it leads
Unsure
Of how to find our way
Untold of what it brings
We tread this land
Undetermined
Undefined
Unable to sense
When rendered senses are blind
We stumble through the thick brush
Unable to see where it leads
Blindly following these blind senses
And falling to our knees
We beg for mercy
Brought forth through stupidity
And blame the results on our friends
As we spit out blasphemy
Unsure of where we’re headed
Unsure of why we go
Unsure of how to get there
Unsure of what we know
Undetermined bearings
Set us out into the world
Where all that is
Is of old
A new era we find
The traditions so blind
Unknowingly
We walk this path
Unsure of where we’re headed
Unabashed
By such trivial things
Our emotions shredded
Unable to feel the pain
That sears through the numbing veins
We stumble out into this place
And try to avoid the blame
For our own blinded stupidity
I’m done with this shit.
