More of a song, but without the music it is just a poem.

We walk this road
Never looking back
We preach this night
What religions lack
We step aside
As we pass ourself
Ahead and behind
Numbingly felt
Why do we stray
Why do we stay
Why do we drift
Away
Night turns to day
Life to death
Lest thine eyes obscure the truth
And rob the mind
Its breath
How are we so blind
No rhythm
No cade--ence
We are so blind
We fade
Away
Drift
Away
But will be found
In life and death
And we will drown
It’s not enough
We walk this path
And back again
We never will be
And never
Have
Been
We walk this street
Forgetting past
This numbing pain
It will
Not
Last…
We walk this road
Never looking back
We preach this night
What
Religions…
Lack.
