I stray
Far from the norm
I am no scavenger
I am no prey
I hunt the corrupt
The vile and damned
And feast upon their flesh
I devour their carcasses
And peck at their bones
I cleanse the earth
Of its disrupt
And its powerful
I purge the earth of sin
By taking it upon my blood
It runs through my veins
And burns my feathers
I am an outcast
A despised one
I eat the flesh of the unworthy
Born of heaven
Yet damned to hell
I sit atop
These dead oak trees
Observing the blackened roses of death
Hungered by the thought
I am not evil
But evil is me
Death courses through me
And I shall purge the world thereof
With my powerful talons
And sharp beak
I will cleans this damned world
Of all its evil
By making it a part of myself
As I feast upon it with sheer
Single-minded delight.
