Sometime’s I wonder what’s the best thing for me to do
Is it better just to let it lie there alone?
Should I prod it and try to fix it
Mistakes I made so long ago?
Is it worth the effort? Is it worth it at all?
Maybe, this time it’s different
Maybe sometimes I should just let it go
Somedays I should just hang my pride and walk away
It’s always not worth the pain to go through
But this time I think I’ll do it right
This time I won’t just let the rain fall
Broken promise, one right after another
Hoping to amend what’s been left behind
In a distant past of never happy
Hoping to fix what’s left, and make it all okay
This time I’ll make it right
‘Cause maybe this time it’s different
Maybe sometimes I should just let it go
Somedays I should just hang my pride and walk away
It’s not always worth the pain to go through
But this time I think I’ll do it right
This time I won’t just let the rain fall
I’m not gonna let it fall and let everything
Just slip away
I know I’ve made it wrong, I messed this time
But who’s to say one cannot change
I can make it right
Maybe sometimes I should just let it go
Somedays I should just hang my pride and walk away
It’s not always worth the pain to go through
But this time I think I’ll do it right
This time I won’t just let the rain fall
Maybe sometimes I should just let it go
Somedays I should just hang my pride and walk away
It’s not always worth the pain to go through
But this time I think I’ll do it right
This time I won’t just let the rain fall
