Soul mate through life,

we've walked down the aisle.

Bearer of your child, keeper of you smiles.

Person you can put your trust in,

who has never prejudged your lifestyle.

Always ready to invite you into my soul.

Songs I play on your body,

send your heart on a drum roll.

The warmth of my embrace,

is what I'd prescribe when life takes its toll.

Working to keep balance,

tranquility in our home.

Always enforcing the laws of respect,

sometimes you break the rules.

Fighting to stand equally beside you,

you use intimidation as your tool.

Teaching morals, patience, and self control;

My everyday activity.

What else can be said about me?

I hold many responsibilities.

I am a wife,

mother,

teacher,

lover and friend.

But above all else, I am a woman...
