:D just something i felt like writing

The night was cool and eerie. Leaves blew in the cold November wind. I turned to my left and saw Jake.

It was still a shock when I saw him his dark hair framing his pale face. Strong jaw and thin lips. His eyes glowed a firey green as we watched the school burn. Dark clothes hugged his muscular body, the thin shapely kind of muscles not the thick I-am-a-stuck-up-jerk-who-is-only-concerned-in-how-I-look muscles. He smiled, turning his gorgeous face into a horrible, twisted grin. I smiled, I couldn't help myself. When I first meet Jake he wore that same evil grin, but back then I had not known what lie just below his thin lips.

Pearly white fangs slipped easily over his bottom lip. I shivered. I know I souldn't feel scared of him anymore, after all mine were out too, but still even if I live to be 1010 years old I will still get sivers when I see him smile like that. Beacuse I know. I know why he is smiling like that.

If i had known a week ago what would happen, would I have still done it?Yes,I answered myself, because he gave you the one thing you craved more then life, freedom,It was true. I turned my attention back to the burning building. The fire department was here now and men in red uniforms ran past Jake and I not bothering a second glace. Or maybe they just couldn't see us. I haven't quite got use to this glammor thing. Jake turned his head, the motion caught my eye but before I could turn to see what he was looking at he was off.

I bolted off after him running at a pace, in my human life, would have been startling impossible, especially with my terrible cardio. I looked ahead of Jake's blurred figure and saw what he was running toward.

A human, maybe 16 lay on the wet ground maybe a mile from the burning school house. I woundered briefly if he attended classes there. Jake I realized had slow down and the human boy was looking at him in shock. I slowed and fumbled inwardly with my glammor issue until I was fairly certain the boy could see me.The boy looked up and I could see dried tears running down his face. Jake knelt down to the ground and spoke softly to the boy.

"What are you doing here?" His voice filled with a timely compassion, the same compassion that had lead me to get into the car with him, this boy was doomed.

"My..my brother. H..he burned in the fire," new tears spilledover the boys cheeks filling the old ones place.

Jake offered the boy a hand and spoke in the same caring way, "I am truly sorry for your loss, do you need an escort home?"

"Are you a police man?" The boys eyes filled with hope at the thought of being taken home. "Yes," he said "yes please take me home. My parents will be wondering where I have been and I will have to tell them about...about Mika." The last word was so quite if I didn't have my new and imprved hearing I would never have heard it.

Jake smiled the same twisted, evil grin I had come to expect. "No," he said. "I am no police man, and I don't mean home as in your house." He grabbed the boy.

I turned away.
