It is a patient chaos
Waiting for the right moment
To let that finger slip
And with cold steel to the temple
He wonders, in a heroic moment,
How much it would mean
If he let go

But he knew he only prolonged
The inevitable
With life

There isn't fear
Or loss of control
Only hope and joy
In the idea that the darkness waiting
Might be brighter than the darkness living
