When I listen close
I cannot hear your voice
And when I strain to see
You are not standing there
And I cry tears
Of remorse
Anger
Love

The fear is numbing
The pain, the cause
Of my undoing
I know you never meant to leave
Yet still I am alone

And truthfully
I wish to die
Just to be by your side
To feel you hold me one more time
To tell you that I love you
